So I just found out that Dreamworks has a movie coming out called Rise of the Guardians and OHMYGOD I'm freaking out! The plot centers around Jack Frost, Santa Claus, Sandman, Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny and, well, stuff happens and they have to save the day and normal animated movie type things. Reasons why I need to see this: 1. Jack Frost is one of the most gorgeous animated characters I've seen 2. Jude Law voices the villain 3. Santa is Russian and tattooed 4. The Easterbunny (E. Aster Bunnymund) is a freakin badass 5. It looks visually stunning 6. Also, SANTA IS RUSSIAN. I'm not sure why that makes me so happy, but it does &

So this coming week I will be scrambling to finish two costumes for a medieval faire, a fairy for myself and God Tier John from Homestuck for my brother...which we know isn't exactly medieval in any way, but he still wants to go through with it. I'll upload occasional WIPs of the costumes as I progress through the week, but the major things I need to work on are my wings (aluminum wire, celophane, and paint mostly) and my corset/vest, and John's stupid hood, which will be the biggest issue, as I have no talent in sewing and I've never really tried a project this big. Not to mention I have a college orientation type thing tomorrow and Monday
